Nebuliser Machines Australia
Nebuliser Machines Australia — TGA-Approved | Vectr Medical
Vectr Medical supplies TGA-approved compressor and mesh nebulisers for home and clinical use across Australia. Our Yuwell nebuliser range is supported by NATA-certified biomedical engineers — we service and maintain nebulisers and respiratory equipment for hospitals, aged care facilities, and GP clinics.
What Is a Nebuliser?
A nebuliser converts liquid medication into a fine mist that is inhaled directly into the lungs. Unlike puffer inhalers, nebulisers don’t require the patient to coordinate breathing with actuation — making them particularly effective for young children, elderly patients, and anyone with severe respiratory distress who may struggle with standard inhalers.
Nebulisers are used to deliver medications including salbutamol (Ventolin), ipratropium, budesonide, and saline for conditions including asthma, COPD, cystic fibrosis, bronchitis, and other respiratory infections.
Compressor vs Mesh Nebulisers — Which Is Right for You?
Compressor Nebulisers
Drive medication through a jet nozzle using compressed air. More reliable with thick medications (steroids, antibiotics). Quieter models like the Yuwell 407A (≤55 dB) suit bedroom and ward use. Best for home, clinical, and paediatric use with a wide range of medications.
Mesh Nebulisers
Vibrate medication through a fine mesh membrane to produce an ultra-fine aerosol. Near-silent operation, compact, battery-powered, and travel-friendly. Faster treatment times and lower residual medication loss. Best for travel, paediatric compliance (children are less intimidated by quiet devices), and lighter medications. Check mesh compatibility with your specific medication before purchasing.

Do I Need a Prescription?
The nebuliser machine itself does not require a prescription. The medications delivered through the nebuliser (such as salbutamol or budesonide) do require a prescription from your doctor. Contact your GP or respiratory specialist for the appropriate medication and dosage.
