How to Pack Your AED for Safe Transit
Remove the AED from its wall cabinet or carry case
Do not remove the pads or battery — leave them connected
Wrap the AED in bubble wrap or foam padding (minimum 3cm on all sides)
Place in a sturdy cardboard box — do not use envelopes or soft packaging
Fill empty space with packing material to prevent movement
Seal securely with packing tape and attach your prepaid courier label
Do not ship in a standard envelope or soft bag. AEDs contain sensitive electronics and must be protected during transit. Vectr Medical is not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging. Padded boxes are available from most Australia Post outlets and Officeworks stores.
