    What You'll Also Need

A complete AED program requires more than just the device. Most organisations also need:

    • Wall cabinet — alarmed, lockable enclosure required for SA AED Act compliance and WHS best practice.
    • AED location signage — ILCOR-standard signs at the device and directional arrows along corridors.
    • Annual NATA-certified testing — annual inspection with calibration certificate for insurers and WHS auditors.
    • Replacement Pad-Pak™ — schedule replacement at 4 years from manufacture date. Contact us to order.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How often does the Pad-Pak need replacing?
Every 4 years from manufacture, or immediately after use.

Do I need training to use it?
No — the voice prompts are designed for untrained users. That said, completing a basic AED/CPR course significantly improves outcomes.

Is this AED suitable for paediatric use?
The standard Pad-Pak is for adults and children over 8 years (or 25 kg). For children under 8, you'll need the separate Paediatric Pad-Pak.
