The ZOLL AED Plus is the rescue-ready workhorse of the ZOLL line — IP55-rated for dust and water, powered by off-the-shelf Duracell 123A lithium batteries you can replace yourself, and built around Real CPR Help feedback that coaches compression rate and depth in real time. It's been a workplace AED standard in Australia for over a decade for good reason.

    Key Features

    • Real CPR Help — real-time feedback on compression rate and depth, with audio prompts and visual icons aligned to the Chain of Survival.
    • CPR-D-padz® one-piece electrode with 5-year shelf life — the longest in the AED industry.
    • Available in semi or fully automatic shock delivery.
    • IP55-rated rugged build withstands extreme temperature, altitude, vibration, and shock.
    • Off-the-shelf Duracell 123A lithium batteries with 5-year battery life.
    • Paediatric capability via separately purchased Pedi-padz® electrodes.
    • Automatic self-testing ensures readiness at a glance.
    • 5-year warranty (7-year on registration).

    What You'll Also Need

A complete AED program requires more than just the device. Most organisations also need:

    • Wall cabinet — alarmed, lockable enclosure that mounts at eye level and protects the AED between uses. Required for SA AED Act compliance.
    • AED location signage — ILCOR-standard signs at the device and directional arrows along corridors. Required for SA compliance and WHS best practice.
    • Annual NATA-certified testing — ZOLL recommends annual inspection by a qualified biomedical engineer. Our service provides a calibration certificate accepted by insurers and WHS auditors.
    • Replacement CPR-D-padz® — schedule replacement at 5 years from manufacture date. Contact us to order.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What's the advantage of the off-the-shelf 123A batteries?
You can replace them with batteries from any pharmacy or hardware store — no proprietary battery pack to source.

Can children be treated with this AED?
Yes, with the separately purchased Pedi-padz® electrodes for under-8s or under-25 kg children.

How does the AED Plus compare to the AED 3?
The AED Plus uses audio CPR feedback; the AED 3 adds a full-colour visual display and optional WiFi reporting. AED Plus is the lower-cost choice; AED 3 is the premium fleet-management option.
