Yes — that's exactly what it's designed for. The voice prompts adapt to the user's pace, repeat critical steps, and never assume prior training. Studies show untrained users successfully deploy AEDs on first contact.
Do I need to do anything for paediatric rescue?
Yes — the standard SMART Pads are adult-only. Order Infant/Child SMART Pads separately for under-8 (or under-25 kg) rescue.
How does the HS1 compare to the FRx?
The HS1 is calmer in tone, smaller and lighter, and aimed at home/small-business use. The FRx is rugged-environment ready and includes more detailed CPR coaching. Both are excellent — pick HS1 for unfamiliar responders, FRx for trained workplace teams.
