SA AED Compliance Package — Complete Workplace Bundle

Everything your South Australian commercial building needs to comply with the Automated External Defibrillators (Public Access) Act 2022 in one transaction. Supplied by NATA-certified biomedical engineers who service AEDs for Queensland Ambulance Service, NSW Ambulance, the Australian Federal Police, and the Australian Defence Force.

From 1 January 2026, buildings with 600m² or more of publicly accessible floor space in South Australia must have a compliant AED installed. Fines of up to $20,000 apply for non-compliance.

• Alarmed wall cabinet — WAP AED wall cabinet, key-lockable, alarmed, suitable for indoor or weather-protected outdoor installation
• ILCOR-standard AED location signage — flat wall sign plus directional arrow sign, as required under the Act
• First annual NATA-certified testing — included at 12 months post-installation. We contact you when it's due, inspect the device, and issue a calibration certificate to AS3551 suitable for WHS files and insurer documentation

Why Buy a Bundle?

The SA AED Act requires the device, appropriate housing, and clear signage. Most organisations also discover their insurer expects documented annual testing. Buying all four components together ensures nothing is missed and saves you the time of sourcing each separately.

What Happens After You Order

1. We contact you to confirm your building details and confirm the right AED model
2. We dispatch the AED, cabinet, and signage to your site
3. We provide installation guidance (or can arrange on-site installation — contact us for a quote)
4. We register your AED on the SA Ambulance Service Community AED Register on your behalf
5. At 12 months, we contact you to schedule the first annual NATA-certified test

Which AED Is Right for My Building?

For most SA compliance requirements — a commercial building with members of the public accessing it — we recommend the Philips HeartStart HS1 as the default. It's the world's most widely deployed public-access AED, engineered specifically for untrained bystanders. If you have a trained first-aider on staff who wants CPR feedback, we recommend the ZOLL AED 3 instead. Contact us and we'll confirm the right choice for your situation.

Ongoing Compliance After Year 1

Annual NATA-certified testing is recommended every year after initial installation. After the included first test, we offer ongoing annual testing at a discounted rate for bundle customers. Ask us about our multi-year testing program when you order.
