The Yuwell 8F-3W is a 3-litre stationary oxygen concentrator suited to patients on lower prescribed flow rates and tighter living spaces. Smaller and quieter than the flagship 5L 8F-5A, it delivers 93% medical-grade oxygen at flows from 0.5 to 3 L/min — the right range for many supplemental oxygen prescriptions, post-COVID respiratory recovery, and ongoing chronic care.

    Key Features

    • 0.5-3 L/min adjustable flow — tuned to lower prescribed flow rates.
    • 93% ± 3% medical-grade oxygen across the operating range.
    • Quiet operation at ≤60 dB(A) — bedroom-friendly for overnight use.
    • UOP molecular sieve — high-quality filter media for stable purity over the unit's life.
    • Compact footprint at 48 × 30 × 65 cm — fits beside a chair or bed without dominating the room.
    • 23 kg net weight — heavier than portable units, but it's not designed to travel.

    Specifications

    • Oxygen flow rate: 0.5-3 L/min
    • Oxygen concentration: 93% ± 3%
    • Power supply: AC 220V, 50Hz, 320 VA
    • Noise: ≤60 dB(A)
    • Net weight: 23 kg
    • Dimensions: 48 × 30 × 65 cm
    • Filter: UOP molecular sieve
    • TGA-approved for use in Australia

    Who it's for

Patients on lower-flow prescribed oxygen therapy (typically 1-3 L/min), those recovering from respiratory illness, and people managing chronic respiratory conditions where 5 L/min capacity isn't required. The smaller form factor and lower noise make it the better choice for patients with limited bedroom space or sensitivity to mechanical noise. If your prescribed flow is above 3 L/min, step up to the 8F-5A.

    What's in the box

    • Humidifier bottle
    • Nasal cannula
    • Power cable
    • User manual

    Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the 8F-3W and 8F-5A?
The 8F-3W maxes out at 3 L/min and 93% purity; the 8F-5A goes to 5 L/min and 95.5% purity. Choose by your prescribed flow rate — there's no benefit in oversizing if you don't need the extra capacity.

Is 60 dB quiet enough for the bedroom?
For most users, yes — 60 dB is roughly the level of a normal conversation. Light sleepers may prefer to position the unit in an adjacent room with extended tubing.

How often does the molecular sieve need replacing?
The UOP sieve is designed for the operational life of the unit under normal home use. The pre-filter (cleanable) and external dust filter (replace every 6-12 months) are the routine maintenance items.
