The Sinocare Safe AQ Pro I is a blood glucose meter built for accuracy across a wide range of users, with no coding, a wide haematocrit range, and a built in ketone warning. Result in 5 seconds from a small capillary or venous sample.

    Key specifications

    • No coding required, insert strip and test
    • Result time: 5 seconds
    • Memory: 500 results
    • Wide haematocrit (HCT) range: 10% to 70%
    • Ketone warning alert
    • For measurement of capillary and venous glucose concentration
    • Display units: mmol/L
    • CE marked (CE 0123)

    No coding

Insert the test strip and the meter is ready, no manual code entry against the strip vial. Meters that require manual coding carry a real error risk, mismatched or forgotten codes are a documented cause of inaccurate readings. Removing that step removes that error entirely.

    Wide haematocrit range

Haematocrit, the proportion of blood made up of red blood cells, affects how accurately some glucose meters read. Many consumer meters are only validated across the haematocrit range of a typical healthy adult. The Safe AQ Pro I is rated across 10% to 70% HCT, a wide range that covers groups who commonly sit outside typical adult haematocrit, including young children, pregnant women, and elderly patients with anaemia or other conditions affecting blood concentration. This matters for aged care and paediatric use in particular.

    Ketone warning

The meter includes a ketone warning alert, flagging when a glucose reading suggests an elevated risk of ketosis. This is a useful safety layer for anyone at risk of diabetic ketoacidosis, though it does not replace direct ketone testing where that's clinically indicated.

    Capillary and venous sampling

Validated for both capillary (finger prick) and venous blood samples, giving flexibility for home use as well as clinical or carer administered testing.

    Who it suits

A straightforward, accurate meter for people already managing Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes who need to monitor and manage their condition with home finger prick testing. The wide HCT range makes it a particularly good fit for aged care settings, paediatric use above the newborn stage, and anyone whose blood concentration may sit outside the typical adult range.

    What you'll need

The meter requires matching test strips, available in 50 pack or 100 pack, and a lancing device with Sinodraw lancets or another compatible lancet for each test.

    Important information

This device is for in vitro diagnostic use only, as an aid in monitoring the effectiveness of an existing diabetes management plan. It is not intended for the diagnosis of, or screening for, diabetes, and it is not intended for use on neonates. This is a prescription monitoring device. Glucose targets and monitoring frequency are clinical decisions. Always follow the plan set by your doctor or credentialled diabetes educator.
